Kaiser acquires Assmann and strengthens market position in Germany

Kaiser AG has acquired 100 percent of the shares in Assmann GmbH. With the integration of the long-established German company based in Lauffen am Neckar, Kaiser is strengthening its presence in Germany and further expanding its international position.

Assmann has more than 50 years of experience in the development and production of sewer cleaning vehicles and has built a strong reputation, particularly in Germany and Austria. The company stands for high quality and the precise implementation of customer-specific solutions – values that Assmann and Kaiser share. For customers, the integration means additional expertise and long-term investment strength, while maintaining a strong focus on regional proximity.

The acquisition is part of a long-term succession solution. Kaiser is clearly committed to the Lauffen am Neckar site and to the existing team. As a result, around 90 Assmann employees in Baden-Württemberg will become part of the Kaiser Group.

“With Kaiser, we have found a strong partner in our industry who secures the long-term future and succession of Assmann and opens up additional development opportunities for us,” says Frank Assmann, Managing Director of Assmann GmbH.

“We are very pleased to welcome the Assmann team to Kaiser and would like to thank the Assmann family for the trust they have placed in us,” emphasizes Markus Kaiser, CEO and owner of Kaiser AG. “Both companies are family-owned and share a clear understanding of long-term responsibility. With Assmann, we are integrating a company that is an excellent cultural and technological fit.”

Kaiser will continue to develop Assmann as a brand in the market – under the new name KAISER ASSMANN.
